  • Forum "clock" is off

No big deal really, but the forum seems to think it is somewhere just East of New Zealand. I checked the settings, and my profile is set to the Pacific Time Zone, GMT-8, which is where I am now. It is now approximately 10:26 a.m. here, for reference.

edit -- Maybe this is just on my computer?

It's been off for as long as I have paid attention to it. I believe from the begining.

I figured it was set to 'Magnus time'.

Not sure what you mean....the clock on the bottom of the page displays 8:15pm and that is what my watch shows. ????

Edited: see the title bar of this post. Well, give or take a minute or two.

Yes Gert, it seems to be off on my computer at work, but okay on my home computer. If you look at the title bar of my first post made at 10:25 a.m., it reads 4:25 a.m., and Doug's post is similarly off. Your post however is not. Wacky.

Oh well, it is of little significance, if any. It is now approximately 9:20 p.m.

At the bottom center of the page it says all times are GMT.

It is dependent on the settings in your user profile. Mine is set to Pacific time, GMT-8. On the bottom of my screen it reads all times are GMT-8. Besides, at 10:26 a.m in California, it is 6:26 p.m. in Greenwich, not 4:26 a.m.

edit -- So posts #1 and #2 in this thread are off, and all posts after that are okay, including subsequent posts by both users posting #1 and #2... Double wacky.

User profile makes sense, I'll check mine.

GMT time as I write this is 5:38 AM

Local time is 9:38 or GMT-8 which seems correct.

It should be GMT. These are English cars after all.

                  Chris

Correct, so I'll have to change it back.

Shit. Do I need to set it to +2 hours for South Africa Time?
