Ok...
It seems like the vbulletin forum is up and running.
For those of you who has not followed the drama, our old forum software, phpBB, was shut down by our provider (OneWrebHosting) since our host got hacked using a security hole in phpBB. The phpBB apparently has quite a few of these holes, and is normally not allowed by hosting services. Hence our upgrade to Vbulletin.
I've managed to import pretty much all information from the old forum, except the phot album section. Since there is no software available to do this, I doubt that it will be done. Once I've figured out the forum software a bit more, I may try to setup another album section and ask you to upload your images again.
Please try to login, check your private messages, do a test post, etc to see that everything works. Problems? Dop me an email
Vbulletin is quite more advanced than ye olde phpBB, which we were running previously.
We have full calendar and event management.
We can attach images, documents, zip files and other stuff directly to a post. Attached images are displayed with the post itself.
We can post in "threads", where we can clearly see who has responded to who in a hierarchial fashion. If you all hate this, I can revert to the old style of showing post listings.
I brought the forum up and running as quick as possible to get you all back on line, but I will probably adjust things as I go along. So don't freak out if things change a bit.
I'll setup a test forum where you can do test posts.
