This guy seems to post on every car forum known to man, but all of his posts seem to be intended solely to encourage clicking through to his site or buying something from him. I can't be the only one who perceives all of this guy's posts to be pure click-bait. Or maybe I'm wrong, and he is a great guy who puts on great drives for the benefit of others? If so, he sells it all wrong, IMHO.

It's a tricky line to draw.
On one hand, I want clubs to announce their events and get some cross pollination going between different communities. On the other hand, we are strictly non-profit and ad-free.
With that in mind, any events that have a strong company sponsorship, or have a primary purpose at selling commercial products or services should be cleared with me, Doug, or Mopho before being posted.
Please note that club events with entry fees are totally ok to post since they are not commercial, with Speed Ventures being an edge case.
If you are unsure, just check with the admins before posting. That gesture itself almost guarantees that we'll let it through.

Not sure, think I deleted it. Got PM'd by him on some other forums too.
Looks like we have another one http://californiacaterhamclub.com/ch...7716#post17716www.morgansegal.com

Magnus is right - it's a fine line. The SoCal and NorCal dudes both seem like genuine enthusiasts of automobiles, and entrepreneurial. And no harm is being done. And who knows, maybe one of the crowd will see the light and realize that M3s just really aren't that capable when it comes to going fast (as me how I know!) and get a real car.
Nothing personal, but I tend to ignore them. The last thing in the world I want to do is go driving on the public way w/ a bunch of people (younger males it seems) who I don't know. Partly because it might be dangerous, but mostly because it would be boring.Chris
