Upper wishbone rear mount

I would tend to want to remove it from the car before I attempted to spread it. This prevents the chance of cosmetic and/or structural damage to the car.

Have you posted pictures somewhere of the wishbone with respect to the mounting points?

The flanges are welded to the frame and next to the shell which is riveted to the frame. I wish I could take it off.

Their response seems reasonable to me. I suspect it will fit just fine if you use a bigger hammer! :p :eek: :D

My feelings exactly about the big hammer. I did find one potential solution. A suggestion of using a bolt and a nut to spread the flanges farther apart. At least I won't take the frame and body with it that way.

I think Caterham is correct and that you should be able to get it together OK.

Hi,

I have a problem and could use some advice. The upper wishbone rear mount is slightly misaligned between 1/16 -1/8". I attached a picture as well. Please note that I am able to mount the upper and lower wishbone on the other side of the car.

Suggestions are welcome and appreciated. I have tried search blatchat as well.
