  • Clutch Slave Cylinder

Anybody know what "regular" car the clutch slave cylinder comes from? Mine is leaking and needs replacement. Don't know if they're all the same, so this one is a blue anodized color. The car is a '93 LHD deDion 5-speed Crossflow. Any help is much appreciated!

    slave cylinder

    Hi Ronbo,

I don't have one of these on my car, but have seen them on other cars. I believe they are an aftermarket unit...I don't think they were on an OEM car. <does quick google search>...OK, I believe I found them. They are Neal: http://www.nealpedals.com/serv03.htm

Let us know if that's the one.

    Cheers,

    Tom

Thanks Tom! This looks very similar to the one in my car, except for the "extra" rod sticking out the back (with the rubber boot). Mine has a bolt head there. I will pursue this, as it may well work.

I ordered on of the slave cylinders from Neal. That extra rod (actually the one without the boot) is there for mounting on VWs, so they are leaving that off the one they are sending, as well as the boot. We'll see if this fits.

In case anyone's watching this, the cylinder from Neal is the exact same as the Caterham piece. Thanks again to Tom, as he saved me about half of Caterham's price by going through Neal.
