How much do you want to spend and what sort of spec are you looking for?

أ‡heck with Rich Kamp at Golden Gate Sevens. He may have his red SV Zetec demo available.

Another SV that sounds to be well sorted. I think our webmaster has personal experience with this one!

If I didn't already have a 7, the SV duratec on Ebay would get a very hard look from me. Duratec IS better than a zetec, and I have a good zetec.

The same yellow SV is back on ebay, with a buy it now price of $35,000.
I'm suprised it didn't sell the first time as the price seems very fair and it is already SB100 licensed in California. To anyone here in California considering a Se7en, take a look at this car as this combination of SV body, Duratec engine, and low miles is rare, and would cost a lot more than $35,000 to buy new. I have no affiliation with the seller, unless the urge to hit the "Buy It Now" button overwhelms me!

The paint job is indeed excellent. My car goes in for a touch up to the same paint shop at the end of this month.

One thing on the yellow Seven on Ebay I've never seen before is the rear fender protection. Where there usually is a stainless steel shield bolted to the front of the rear fender, Europan Motor Car Works has put some kind of extra protection layer under the paint job. The result is a about 0.3 mm raised rim around the protected area, which you can barely see. Very nice result.

Magnus, do you know about how much the paint job cost on the yellow SV? New paint is on my long range upgrage list.

I think Ken mentioned USD2500 for his job. I got a quick guestimate on USD4000 for my car. The price difference may be due to the fact that his car was being repainted while it was stripped down for after the A-arm failure.

I got a quote for some $4000 a while ago and decided that yellow and aluminum is just fine. I got the explanation for the high cost to be due to the meticulous masking especially for the etching/primer fluid. You really don't want that getting into chassis crevices.
