Towing Insurance - Recommendations?

Owning a seven is a nice way to accumulate "frequent tower" points, but it is expensive. Particularly if you are a member of AAA.

My last encounter with a flat bed cost me $9 a mile, with the first few miles at no charge. Some have suggested that there are better deals to be had.

Suggestions/recommendations?

I have a roadside assistance card with the Hagerty insurance for a few additional bucks (but honestly I forgot how much they would cover).

The two times I broke down with the Birkin (no fuel and broken clutch) I just called my wife to get me some gas or tow me home. Who needs a flatbed? 8)

P.S.: Calling the wife for help can become pretty expensive, though....I mean nice dinner etc.
