Some time ago there was an article in Road & Track about Holman and Moody building some GT 40's. The car had the "bundle of snakes" stainless steel exhaust . The system was a rather rich golden color, and it was stated that the color was achieved by "heat cycling with WD 40".
Anybody know anything about this process? I'm thinking of doing something with the exhaust on my 7, and that look was very attractive.
