  • Anyone in So Calif have an SV?

I've come close to buying a Caterham 7 a couple of times. I recently test-drove a very nice 7 with the standard chassis and, at 6' tall, I fit just fine (though the top of the windshield seemed to be right at my eye level) but I can't help but wonder how much different the SV would feel.

If anyone in the Orange County (or beyond) has an SV that I could sit in for comparison's sake I'd sure appreciate the opportunity.

I have an sv in manhattan beach, although it is fairly much a track weapon at this point. Feel free to swing by if you want to go for a ride.

Send me a private message to set time and place.

What's at the top of the eye level. A windshield you say? And so... what?

I'm 6'-4" and can see through the windscreen just fine. However, my car has lowered floors. The SV is bigger and should not be a problem. Even I had to move the seat up to reach the pedals though!

I fit my 6'2" frame in the SV just fine. You're more than welcome to try mine on for a fit if you're up in L.A.

I've got an SV down in San Diego. I haven't been to the autocross in a long time, mostly drive it on the streets. I'm about 5'10" and it is actually pretty comfy.
