  • Uprated fuel pump

FYI, I saw this on the Hartley site and thought it might be a less expensive upgrade than switching to an R500 pump:

The stock fuel pump usually starts to lose pressure at 200-210HP+ when at high RPM. I removed the submerged pump and installed this one externally while reusing the existing plumbing: http://www.shop.speedunlimited.com/S...d/0/rid/126429

Install took a couple of hours, and I haven't thought about it since.

      Magnus,

Yes, I thought you had an external pump. I like the idea of a pump that fits in the stock location (with a minimum of tweaking). Did you have to also remove the stock pump to fit the external one?

From a quick google search, it looks like the two pumps (yours and the Walbro) are priced about the same (~$100), whereas the R500 pump is ~$250.
