thanks, looks like a good option to reduce noise, FWIW tried a Supertrapp tip but hated it and power was very noticeably down w/ enough disks removed to make a difference

A gent in SD fabricated something similar, with two silencers, and got his sound down into the mid 80s. He used a couple of cheap, heavy amurricun bullet shaped mufflers under his clamshell. The arrangement flowed into the first, then the exit pipe did a 180 back in the forward direction a couple of feet, another 180 into the second bullet and exited a side exhaust. It had a bit of Rube Goldberg about it, and worked very well.

The Powerspeed solution is much more elegant, if a bit less effective, apparently.

Thanks again for the link, I copied this setup and used a Hushpower resonator as the second muffler (the first is a Hushpower Pro)....works great and my car is finally quiet enough for me
