Hi everyone,
I've heard about this group but never had a chance to get in contact with anyone. To give you a quick history on me, I picked up a locost from someone in fontana about a year and a half ago and have been working on it to get it setup the way I would like to have it. Its not the nicest car but I enjoy driving it.
I'm mainly a drifter and run a company that manufactures suspension products for the drifting market but I've also spent many years working on race cars and have done a fair amount of club racing, although I havent had time to do much racing since the drift market became popular. My web site is www.battleversion.com if you want to see the stuff I make.
Back to the car. Its a home built locost that the previous owner got running with an sb100 tag with a 63 cortina motor. I've recently replaced the motor with a 4ag turbo setup. Pictures and writeup here: http://www.locostusa.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1758
The plan with the car is just to have fun with it. I notice that many of you are based in socal and run the local tracks so I hope to get my car legal to run with you all and have a few people to drive with. I've just been using the car for short trips around where I live but would like to get it on the track soon.
