New owner at SCA

Hi this is jay From Pasadena, here are the pic of my Lotus/Caterham 7 I just save . The pre owner buy this chassic from AUS( which is license by Caterham). and build here in USA. The car is power by 1985 MAZDA RX-7 engine and MT, and rear end. Front suspension is Spitfire design.

Recenly took it to Street of willow. Got 1:31.xx on CW. I consider this is pretty good time consier I am running every thing as this( but change all the fluid and TQ every thing lo) beside tire( Free Avon DOT my friend give it to me). but may I know how about every one else ?

As I remember it from last year John was running in the 1:11 - 1:12 range, on slicks. The rest of us were a little slower than that.

I suspect that he was running the longer version of Streets with the horseshoe banked bowl turn that LASAAC doesn't use in order to keep the speeds down.

YES my time was on Full length of Street of willow. I did not run on the Version you guys usually run!! I heard Porsche CLub and some other club run that. Althought I finish my SCCA Racing School. on this version of Street of willow( in rain ;) )

No no, my car is reg and street legal. just dont have any light and wind shield. I just dont really like the Seven with with shield. I will plan to put the lights, so I can do some night cruise :).
