    Hello everyone.
I first became interested in "7"s 15 years ago when I went to the Long Beach Grand Prix and saw one on display. I was vaguely familiar with the mark from the Prisoner. I had a chat with a good friend of mine who use to work for Lotus who told me about the day the "old man" "Chapman" came to him one day and told him to box up all the 7 stuff as he had sold it all to Caterham cars. Together we searched around for the next 15, other distractions all getting in the way for for what options were out there in the seven arena. Early in the search I came across the Robin Hood, a Seven inspiration from my home town of Mansfield England. I got derailed from Sevens for years until my plate cleared and the search was back on after I did some work with the Caterham Formula 1 team which ignited my interest again. Digging back into the Robin Hood I found that it had evolved into the GBS ZERO. Anyway fast forward a year and I now have a ZERO under construction (Corona CA for anyone who want to come take a look). Mine will be Mazda 1.8L powered.
    Looking forward to getting involved.

Glenn was there until the early 80's through the hay days. Bob does alot of work for Clive over at classic team lotus now. It will be awhile until I am ready for a dyno but I will lkeep an eye out and see if I can come see the action.

Welcome aboard. I'm down the 15 in Escondido. I drive past Norco/Corona frequently. Maybe I'll be able to stop by and say hello in person one day.

I took this picture of Bob reminiscing with our friend Martin back on 20 June 2010 at Snetterton in the UK. The event was the Classic Team Lotus Festival. It was a family reunion of sorts for all of the former members of Team Lotus. The track event was open to the public for an admission fee. The featured activity, besides the team members and families-only reunion luncheon, was the assemblage of one each of every Lotus F1 car ever built. A total of 35 different Gran Prix models covering a span of 37 years were on display. And all of the runners made demonstration laps of the Snetterton circuit.

I remember the even every well. Bob and Glenn don't live far from Snetterton. Lots of the original testing of the Lotus F1 cars was done there. Like many circuits in the UK (Norfolk) Snetterton is an old WW2 8th Air Force bomber airport, one of the corners is actually called Bomb Hole. All the cars that were assembled for the festival were lined up on the track for an aerial photo. Clive has reprints of the photo for sale for anyone looking to place hints for their birthday.

A photo of the actual print. The signatures are something I have collected over the years including Bob Dance right over the 25

                          That signed poster is awesome!

It reminds me that I was fortunate to have my camera and be able to take a few pictures at the event. This one was taken in the paddock during the staging of the cars for the on-track demonstration laps:

And my favorite captures the personal enthusiasm for Team Lotus that is still evident, taken just as the Type 49 was lit off a few feet away, inside the display tent:

Glenn Waters, now with McLaren, is coming to see me in Corona in February. Come by when he is at my place and we will have him sign the 78 and 79. Glenn was Andretti's chief mechanic when he won the world championship.

Unfortunately I'm in NorCal or I'd definitely come by.

I already have Marios signature and Glenn would have made a great companion to it.
