Fire(s)!!!

Any of you fine southern california folks affected by the fires? Looking at the news it looks bad. Hope everyone is ok.

We can see the smoke and actually see the flames at night from the two Arrowhead fires, but they are moving in the other direction. Fortunately when the conditions are ripe for these types of fires (Santa Ana winds), Victorville is upwind of most fuel. This definitely was not a good weekend for a mountain blat!

Many of the folks in our department have been evacuated from their homes, and one in Ramona lost his house Sunday night. It's incredible the size of the area that's being affected here in San Diego. Hope they get it under control soon.
