Blat?

Although I've been involved with british cars and bikes for more thal 25 years, I'm new to the 7 world, the term "blat" is new to me, What's it's origin and or meaning?

its a slang term for spirited drive.

Don't know if it has any similar meaning outside of the Sevens community. I have seen several attempts of explaining the term or finding the root but they did not look convincing. I suspect it is just a spontaneous word creation that took hold within a certain British automotive minority group.

But it is good enough for me....anyway not my native language so I don't care.
