I've heard back from Ammo. He said quote:

If anyone else is interested you need to provide the size you want, you need to know the diameter of your collector and the distance between the car and your current silencer at its closest point. You can also specify what kind of output end you want - straight, rolled etc. Please have a look at www.raceco.com for more info.

I measured and found I could use a RACECO 6.25" dia. can with 2.25" inlet (OD of the existing pipe), and side exhaust tip (about 60 degree bend and at least 8" long). The inlet could be on center, but better 1/2" off center. You know how long that thing is?

If you order in bulk shipment should I transfer money to AMMO on my own or how does this work? I think he does not take credit card.

I could also have my sister transfer the money from Germany, somewhat easier than from US (she may be looking anyway for a Christmas present....).

He sent me his wire transfer information. We could either do 2 wires or just one and you write me a check.

I'll drop him a note to tell him or your interest and that there'll be 2 cans not just one. I'll include what you've written regarding size etc. I don't know exactly how long the inlet is. Write him and ask about the inlet. I need mine bent about the same as you've indicated.

I haven't checked out UPS yet but soon.

I'd like to grab one as well.

Being in Sweden right now, I cannot get measurements. So if AMMO knows what will fit a Zetec equipped SV (2002 #39), I will take that that and hope for the best. I have stock headers with the four hole flange. That means that I need the 4-1 (or 4-2-1) unit that goes into the can as well.

Gert and I have already got our orders in the can so to speak. I suggest you contact Ammo through his web info and make your order directly w/ him. At least you won't be fighting the time zone difference and international rape-o calling rates.

Your measurements (ooo!) are likely similar to Gert's . Gert and I were going to ship ours at the same time but there's really no reason why we can't do 3 at once as Gert's car isn't going anywhere for a while and my new can (ooo!) won't even fit (ooooo!).

If you're considering an engine change you may want to think about which silencer to get. Mine won't even be useable (for now) because I've opted for a 2.5" inlet side while my current collector is 2.25. Ammo suggested the larger diameter for higher hp Duratec (or any other high hp engine) installations.
