Predictable, given the termination of the Renault collaboration project. Less so is the exodus on their own volition the article mentions. This implies that the people there really are smart, and can see the writing on the wall.

This is following a familiar pattern. I can remember a string of news like this out of Hethel many years ago as the toilet-bowl effect took over Lotus.

Putting on my Karnak swami hat for the moment, for me the only real question going forward is how TF will choose to rip the carcass of the Group apart, and whether the motorcar business will be picked up by someone genuinely interested and decent (like the previous group & Ansar Ali) or just scavengers.

So looks like F1 is over... but no word on Cars.

Yeah, I saw that on BC. I get where he's coming from if what he said about the budget limits is true. He's not the 1st guy the Poison Dwarf has run out of town, and won't be the last.

I like the fact that he's keeping the GP2 team. They've had moderate success w/ it. Too bad Rossi won't have as easy a top rung anymore, if the F1 team could be called that.

The BBC article I read quoted him as saying he would keep the car biz. His stewardship of the car company has been ok. He's trying new things and so forth, and seems enthusiastic about them. Jury's out though and I guess time will reveal all.
