I had intended to wash the 7 today. But instead, spent the day studying and photographing the varying cloud formations passing in the skies overhead today. Naturally, this was best done from the 7. Started at about 50' above sea level in San Jose, and drove up Nichole Sherzinger road (technically Mount Hamilton road, but that's what I call it) to the Lick observatory (nah... too easy) at 4,200', stopped for a burger at The Junction on the other side, and then turned off 130 onto Mines road into Livermore. Then home. Winter conditions, so had to wear a long-sleeved t-shirt. Bitchen day.
At the bottom:

Approaching the observatory:

Above Silicon Valley:

Descending on the other side:

Empty roads and great weather. Hey Morgan - This is not exactly right in your back yard, but close enough for a blat, don't you think?
