Ho Ho Ho - I went down to the Bo!

For all you not in SoCal, well, today was 78 deg. F (~28+/- C), sunny and clear as could be. An absolutely PERFECT day for a blast around. Here's hoping I wasn't the only one hereabouts to take advantage of the year's best possible Christmas gift: the weather. All week right through the weekend will be similar. WooHoo!

Post Christmas Drive pics here if you've got em.

Cheers to all and A Very Merry Christmas! We drivin!

        Oh. It exists. And how.

I think I speak for all of us to say that we're more than a little sorry to see you go.

However, and happily, you won't be too far, and there's a bunch of good CCC fellas where your headed, so all the best to you and yours, and we'll be sure to see you at an event in the (near) future.

Tell Dubble M that we'll be seeing him at Laguna this year, if NASA does what they did last year. Fingers crossed.

        Cheers!

Our Christmas drive was really more of a winter solstice drive. Due to family committments on Christmas day it wasn't possible to go out for a blat. Instad we planned ahead and went out for a dawn patrol drive this past Sunday morning. It was a little bit cooler on Saturday night (high 20s to low 30s) than on Christmas Eve in our local mountains so we had to be particularly cautious due to frost (early) and moisture (after ~0800) lingering in curves shaded by overhanging trees. But overall it warmed up nicely to make for a very pleasant tour out to Borrego Springs for breakfast:

Not quite rid of me yet though, I am keeping the car down here until somewhere around April and I will be splitting my time between the two places.

I took the car out briefly today, but didn't get to take pictures.
