    A very interesting race car concept here

    By all means run the video. It was shot at Buttonwillow. Just look at the speed the car is carrying. Wow.

    Interesting.

    <speculation>
    I'm not worried about the turn in, but rather oversteer due to roll. When you turn in, there will be no outer front wheel far out enough to keep the car level, and thus the inner rear wheel planted.
    For an extreme example of this roll, see:

    </speculation>

    I've sent off the page to a few (ex-)MillenWorks engineers for their input.

      Got a reply from the Millen guys:
      "Matt and I were looking at the car thinking the same - Its going to be very hard to balance the car (front and rear grip) its going to be a fantastic pusher in corners.... The roll stiff we have to play with is on the rear - sounds like a setup nightmare with very limited options and a heavy rear bias."

        More here

        It seems these guys have thought about a lot of those things.

          Maybe it's one huge tire in the front;)

            Watching his (Franchitti's) hands on the wheel through Riverside (or anywhere else for that matter) there's not much evidence of understeer to be seen. W/ so much weight on the rear wheels and all the downforce there, it kind of seems more like a 2 wheeled vehicle than a 4 wheeled one, effectively steering the car w/ the rear end. Very interesting.

            He completes the western loop (no Phil Hill & the sweeper not star mazda) in about 50 seconds. Yowser.
