Bought a new car.

About a month ago we sold our Subaru STi, trying our life with only one daily driver. This weekend we realized that living in SoCal is impossible without two cars (three, counting the Caterham).

So I decided to completely skip my upcoming midlife crisis and move straight into nasal-hair old age.

2007 Jaguar XJ8. 64000 miles. One owner. Mint. $20K.

I'm still looking out the window going "What the f*ck did I just buy?"

Post photo please. A gorgeous car. If a person took all of the luxo cars from that year and shot a side view photo and printed them all black, the Jag is the only one that would be recognizable. All the others (Infinity, Lexoid, BreakMyWindow,Mercedes,Audi et. al) just look like aero-blobs.

The XJR is the one w/ all the beans, but well bought just the same.

I firmly believe that you have to project a national image that is compatible with the car you are driving. Thus when I drive my Volvo (XC60), I look like this:
