Great Blat today. LA/Ojai/Frazier Park

I did an impromptu blat today from LA up to Ojai for lunch, then up the 33, cutting over to Frazier Park via the Lockwood valley Rd and then back to LA on the 5. Fantastic.
The day was very clear with a little snow at the top of the mountains. Hardly any traffic and amazing views. The sun set about 20 miles before I got to the 5 and it got very cold. Had to stop and put the birkini top on to try and stay warm. The last leg of 60 miles on the 5 was freezing!

Sorry I missed you! My wife and I were headed home from LA to Santa Cruz and left Ojai at noon for a trip north on 33 to 166 and back to 101.

The weather was truly stunning, you could see the channel islands from 'high point' on the 'front side' of the range. Nice to see that much of the road out of Ojai has been recently paved and there were very few rocks on the road.

The only bad thing was I was in a Miata instead of the Se7en.
