Is the wife home when you have the engine apart in the living room?

She was in Europe most of the time and later I moved the engine to the home office. But I did not have a choice. I did that in July/August 2008 and it was way too hot to work outside. That was also after the block and head were hot tanked and clean as a whistle. I did not leave too many oily spots on the rugs.

Rosie is very patient. Back when we lived in Switzerland I built a wooden 14" catamaran that occupied the living room and adjoining dining room for 4 or 5 months. Only the sanding dust and the wood chips got me some complaints.
