No, I use the duct tape only for safety critical parts.
FWIW, Summitracing has a pretty good selection of the Aeroquip Socketless stuff. There is also a place in Santa Fe Springs (forgot the name) that is a distributor but less selection.

I assume you used chewing gum, plywood, duct tape etc. to finish the install. :D
Seriously, thanks Gert!

Save the hoses until after everything is in place and tow the car down to Earls' in Inglewood, http://www.anplumbing.com/. He will measure everything up for you and give you what you need.
Tell me if you need any help. I'd be happy to drive over for mechanical and moral support.

It's been sitting on the garage floor for months. 1st I had to finish the brakes & hubs and when that was done I wanted to putt around for a while before the surgery. Next holdup was the leaking Pace sump. A replacement was sent after a couple of months and it too is sitting on the garage floor. I'd been waiting to borrow the hoist but I think that's available now. I guess I'm running out of excuses...
250 - 400 clicks (yes, my butt hurts) on the bicycle per weekend doesn't leave me much energy for automotive stuff. I'll be backing off of that level of effort soon and start the work. I have to get the Brise tank and the braided stainless hoses yet.
