    Howdy.

I've spent the last three weeks in the woods in Sweden with barely any communication. Now that I'm back home, I'll continue my Seven restoration with a DIY paint job.

Sounds wonderful! Any pictures (of your trip)?

Were you filming a Swedish re-make of the film "Deliverance", or maybe consoling Elin Nordegren? Not clear if you were stranded, lost, camping, imprisoned, or what, but at least you have access to your car and communications again. Welcome back. :)

The funny thing is my wife goes " What is that car a Morgan ? " and I said "No that's a Caterham but there is a Morgan driving it " -delise

Sorry, didn't mean to go all db6 on you there. Not having a great day today. I was just intrigued by the vague details of the original post, and the wording had me picturing a very remote area. In re-reading, I now realize he could have been talking about a house with a slow internet connection.

My post should have read something more like:
What were you doing for three weeks in the woods in Sweden? Was this a camping trip or part of military service or something? Please tell us more about this fascinating trip. I'll bet you are happy to back with your car and back on the forum.

          I certainly meant no disrespect.

Sorry Sean, my post wasn't directed at you and didn't come out right, I was suggesting that we forgot who Magnus was since he has been gone so long.

I thought your post was funny ;)

It was just a regular family vacation spent in Stockholm and on أ–land with kids and two tons of luggage. Most of the time, however, was spent driving a Ford Focus Crapwagon (Euro edition) around the country running on E85.

The ethanol-added horsepower didn't really help when it was time to overtake that big rig on a two-lane country road with no shoulder with oncoming traffic arriving fast. Scary times.

No Sevens spotted. The most interesting things I saw was a very nice XK120 and an 190SL. Not much to write home about.

I did have about 300 texts and 25 missed calls from Elin, asking me to swing by to help her come over that golfer dude. But since I had baby duties to attend to, I had to decline. Next time.

              /Magnus F.
