WTF is that? That should be read 'Why TF'.

I've seen a few variants of 3 wheelers about these days. Odd idea those. All the disadvantages of motorcycles (poor visibility to others, open n cold or hot, no cargo space etc.) and cars (can't split lanes in a traffic jam) at the same time. I don't get 'em at all. Amputee autos w/ inherent poor stability.

Same can be said of the Caterham though. This actually has more cargo space (it has bike panniers) than my car and since it is considered a bike by the law you can use the HOV lane. It's quite fast too, 200hp or so 1400cc bike engine, so 12k rpm, sequential box 1120lbs.
Handling was a bit scary and not as connected as the Cat is, so no thank you

I take it you borrowed the t-rex for your work?

Do you need a bike license to drive it?
Edit: Reading your response to Chris, I take it you do.

          Cool toy...

Yeah, I was supposed to shoot it today, but my $5k camera decided to melt down, so had to take the car home and try and shoot it with an old camera :(

Don't need a bike license to drive it.

I drove it a bit, but took it fairly easy, I wasn't comfortable in it as it didn't give me a lot of confidence.
The writer/test driver took me for a white knuckle ride, which I imagine is a similar experience to getting a good ride in a Caterham, so I now realize that I am scaring the shit out of my passengers

I managed to dig up the price of one.

Fifty K... That's a haggled down price of a new CSR. Easy choice if you ask me.

And I thought the Seven got a lot of attention, holy cow, I just took it out locally to shoot some pics and I practically had to fight off crowds, people hootin' and holler'n from their cars LOL

EDIT: It looks as though his had black wheels and DC stickers, though I suppose both could easily be changed.

I am in Wels, Austria tonight. I visited the BRP (Rotax) powerplant factory today on business.

I got a brief test of one of these today:

                        http://motorbike-search-engine.co.uk...-am-spyder.jpg

Along with a ride on a BMW bike and a test of one of the 125cc Rotax karts.

                        Pretty much fun.

Can you snag me a new style clutch for my Rotax kart? Maybe a radiator too? :D
