Run up to Lake Gregory - Sat., Aug. 15

The Rim of the World Park & Rec. Dept. is hosting their 30th Annual "Run through the Pines" (5K & 10K) on Saturday morning, August 15. I've entered and plan to drive up Hwy. 18 to Lake Gregory from our home in Riverside, arriving about 7:00 AM. Anyone interested in this early morning blat? Alternatively, you could arrive at Lake Gregory around 10:00 AM and we could rendezvous for breakfast somewhere after the running event. Any takers?

As Gert mentioned in his email, we both will be up at the Monterey Historics this weekend. Otherwise I would go as I frequently make the drive up to Lake Gregory Coffee on Saturday or Sunday mornings. Lately I've been taking the electric Mini E:
