I happened to be in the area recently, so I took a few shots of this thing myself. I'm not into the whole anime thing at all, but something about a 60 foot tall cartoon robot in a public park is just friggin' cool.

My brother-in-law lives in Japan and works as a computer graphics and special effects guy for the film and television industry there. He sent me a photo today of a life-size GUNDAM in the Odaiba area of Tokyo. This is a real photo - not CG. Cool.
