The funny thing is my wife goes " What is that car a Morgan ? " and I said "No that's a Caterham but there is a Morgan driving it " -delise

Ok - I am throwing away my camera right now.

Never again shall I think "nice car" and snap a photo with no composition or lighting taken into account.

    >sigh<

I am not sure whether or not I should be depressed, or take this as an opportunity to learn. ;) What are the specifics for the second photo? I'm curious about the f-stop, focal length, and distance from you to the car and the car to the building -- I love that look, but never seem to have much luck achieving it myself.

      Thanks,

        Lens is a Nikon 80-200 2.8 at 145mm
        Shot at F3.5 @ 1/20th

Car is approx 10 ft from wall, and I am approx 25ft from the car

The look is a combination of low and overcast light a wide aperture and post production work in photoshop ;)

Thanks Morgan. Overcast light is very easy to find where I live <sigh>, so I may break out the camera this weekend and give this a try.
