4 New Caterham Sevens Shipped & Available

Hi all,

4 New Caterhams are currently on the water and available. Container is expected mid to late July. All vehicles are in rolling chassis state, minus engine and trans package (which we can supply as well).

First is a Caterham Seven 360 with these added options: Caterham Red painted body, Wider SV body (15% larger interior), Leather seats, 15" Alloy wheels & Avon CR500 tires, Half roof, Lowered floor, Heater system, Quick release steering wheel, carpeted interior, 12V power socket, Side screen arm rests.

Second is another Caterham Seven 360 with these added options: Caterham Titanium painted body, Wider SV body (15% larger interior), Leather seats, 15" Alloy wheels & Avon CR500 tires, Half roof, Lowered floor, Heater system, Quick release steering wheel, carpeted interior, 12V power socket, Side screen arm rests.

Third is a Caterham Seven 480 with these added options: Caterham Black painted body, Sport Package (S badging, carbon leather seats, leather tunnel, carbon vinyl trunk cover, LSD, tonneau cover & half side screens), ACES gear change lights, Wider SV body (15% larger interior), Lowered floors, Weather equipment package (windscreen, heated windshield, full room system with doors & armrests), Heater system, Quick release steering wheel, Carpeted interior, 12V power socket.

Lastly is a Caterham 620R with these added options: F1 paint scheme, Weather Equipment (Windscreen, Heated Windshield, Full Roof System including Doors and Roof Frame), Side screen arm rests, Heater system, Quick release steering wheel, 12V power socket, Interim exhaust catalyst bypass pipe.

Question, does the rolling chassis still allow these to be considered Specially Constructed Vehicles in California?

Is it a KIT?

Doug, yes these will go under SB100 process in CA. Even though it is a factory built car, it comes with an MSO (Manufacturers Statement of Origin) from Caterham. The law still views it as a kit car since it is not turn key complete. We have been doing our Superformance Cobras, GT40s, and Daytona Coupes for years this way. Car comes completed as rolling chassis, minus engine/trans. For people who wish to do the build themselves, we can still order the Caterham in kit form.
