I have some pictures of mine when it was off the car last but alas my old computer broke and I have not been able to access that hard drive yet. I bought it from Tom at DBE back in 1996. It is quite heavy and if I were to make one it would be out of aluminum. In addition the flange at the cylinder head is too thin and has a tendency to leak. The filler necks are available from folks like Summit. The "pot" itself is nothing special ... no internal baffles. The position of the lower inlet and upper outlet cause the swirling effect.

I'm in need of a swirl pot / header tank for my '62 Series 2. It has a 1340 pre-X/flow engine. The original ones mount to the head directly and replace the thermostat housing / water outlet neck and incorporate the radiator cap I think. -- I've never seen one in person so I'm not really sure of the exact configuration.

If anybody has some pictures of one, or better yet, some drawings, or one that I can look at I can make one if necessary.
