Speedventures is having an open autocross practice Dec. 1&2 at California Speedway. $80 for one day, but it looks like all the laps you could want, without having to work. I'm probably being optimistic that I'll have my car back by then, but if I don't I might just rent a civic or something to get back on the track for a day.
We finally got my car running, but it looks like the cylinders were flooded during the many attempts at starting it, and piston rings broke on two of the cylinders! The engine is being re- rebuilt, but then we should be OK. Yeah, right, same story for the last 6 months - but this time I have high hopes.
