  • NASA Buttonwillow Nov 10 & 11

I'm planning to make this one.

Anyone else besides M. Murphy and Chris?

I'll rent a garage if there is enough interest.

Garage was $150 last time so assume it is the same or close to it. I usually rent half to M. Murphy, half to Gert, half to Magnus, etc. and make out OK.

So that is the path for upgradeitis enlightenment, Weedhopper. Nice work if you can get it.

Anyway, count me in for half, max.

I called to reserve a garage only to find they are sold out.

We are on the waiting list, meanwhile I've reserved an RV spot that might have room for several cars.

I'm not sure whether I will be able to make it. Much going on, including three girls' soccer tournaments. I'll let you know shortly.

Anyone else planning on this event?

I signed up for November as this months HPDE3 sold out.

I'm in. It's sounding like an EZ-up kind of a weekend if no garages open up.

                  Here's the latest plan.

I will be there on Friday to test (test what? something new...) With the family, just for fun. I'll run NASA time trial on Saturday and then go home with the family SUnday morning. So I'm in for one day only. Any chance you might come up on Friday to hang out?

Yes. Is testing sort of open track? That is, can I get on-track too?

                      Michael

I think I can get there for Friday.

How early will you be there?

                      Chris

You need to check with the track (661 764-5333) as the testing is not run by NASA and you may need more safetly equipment.

For sure the Nomex suit and maybe a full cage.

Accident in Seven - Won't be attending

Yesterday while driving to work, I was stopped at a signal behind a Chevy Silverado. A pedestrian started crossing and the Chevy guy decided to back-up and give him more room. Yup, his trailer hitch gave our Caterham a hairlip nose, smashed my radiator and bent some stuff. So, please, everyone who attends the November Buttonwillow NASA event, have a great time! I'll be thinking about you.

                        Best wishes,
                        Clark

Regrets to the 7 and you..

I got nailed the same way by an inattentive SUV a few years back, though not in the 7.

                          Wishing you a speedy recovery!!!

Yeah, sorry to hear that one. Hope it is an easy fix, but annoying anyway.
                            Good luck!

Jeezuz Clark, sorry to hear that. Particularly since your car is so very good looking. Find the best plastic surgeon you can for the nose job please.
