Ordinarily I would be happy to come down to Buttonwillow but the chance to drive sdrawkcab at Thunderhill is too good to miss. I would strongly prefer that option... particularly if youse guys are willing to drive north!

I'll be doing both fall events. The Thunderhill / Buttonwillow question is open although I'm leaning to Buttonwillow because I will have missed 3 events in a row in SoCal HPDE 4. As the Japanese say... must stay w/ group.
For sure I'll be at Buttonwillow in Nov.

Pretty sure that Michael and Pierre are going to Thunderhill in October.

Only for racing, which requires a NASA racing license anyway. Most of us just do the HPDE (no timing) in various groups, i.e. drive as fast as you can (within the NASA rules and staying reasonably safe) without getting a ticket. FIA bar is fine, as long as you have proper harness (min 5-point with 3" lap belt), SA rated helmet, cotton or Nomex clothes and an inspected car.Last edited by slomove; August 6, 2007, 08:23 PM.

NASA requires a cage, right? I've just got the FIA rollbar, otherwise I'd try to be there.

You may have seen the thread on NASA-Sevens-Challenge.
Anybody from SoCal planning to attend either event? Buttonwillow sounds good but Thunderhill clockwise is promising, too. Just the friggin' drive....decisions, decisions...
