  • Tech Day/social? SoCal, 27 Jan 07

    Hi folks,

I've been hosting these tech days for Miata enthusiasts for a few years now, and would like to try expanding them to include some other lightweight sports car marques. Although I don't have a Se7en myself, I do have an appreciation for them & feel a sort of kinship with them (I have an Ariel Atom). I don't know if there's a large enough Se7en community in SoCal to enjoy tech days like this, but if it isn't please feel free to join us! I'd love to see a Lotus contingent show up for these events, even if it's just to hang out & socialize.

    What:
Garage Woolery Winter Tech Day & Social

    Where:
    David Woolery's House
    10131 Shady Point Drive
    Whittier, CA 90603

    When:
    Saturday, 27 Jan 2007
    9am - Midnight

    Host:
    David Woolery
    (562) 947-5355

Garage Woolery has expanded! Grand Re-Opening!

To celebrate the garage expansion, Garage Woolery would like to invite you and your roadster friends to our winter seasonal tech day! All are welcome! This event is NOT limited to any club and is FREE. Come out to work on your car, help others, show off your car, enjoy the potluck, buy/sell parts, or just hang out.

Garage Woolery Tech Days tend to be heavily attended by Miata enthusiasts of all ages and backgrounds so you're just about guaranteed to meet new people. You don't need to work on your car to attend, either! Garage Woolery Tech Days are also a great time for socializing and meeting other enthusiasts.

Although there will be some food provided, Garage Woolery can't provide enough food on their own for everyone who comes out...so please feel free to bring something to share in the potluck (optional).

Although we've significantly expanded our facilities to handle more cars, we'd still like to manage the space as effectively as possible. If you have a particularly ambitious project you would like to tackle, please contact me ASAP to reserve an appropriate spot in the garage for you to do your job (first come, first served).

We look forward to seeing you there!

Cool, sounds good....and only 20 minutes from home :)
I got nothing specific to work on but maybe just come along and see what and who is there. There ain't no dyno, by chance?

Reminds me.... I have not polished the aluminum for more than a year.

    Reservation required? Gert

      Sorry, there isn't a dyno...it's a private home. :)
You only need to make reservations if you plan to do a big project (ie., full suspension replacement) that will need to use a dedicated work area in the garage. You don't need to have a project in mind, just come out and enjoy the company! I'd love to check out your Caterham!
