Looks like a Malibu area blat will happen either 9/30 or 10/1, and there might be some new Sevener's with their cars to meet. Post here if you plan to attend, and which of the two days would be better for you. I've never driven this area, so I'll leave it up to Gert (and Doug?) for route planning. Early AM is best. Be advised that several of the roads are now heavily patroled on the weekends. Due mostly to the large number of motorcyles misbehaving.

I seem to recall that there is some sort of AM car gathering the first Sunday of the month in Calabasas. I'll try to find out more.

How about meeting at Valley Circle and the 101. This is about one mile past Topanga.

From Westbound 101
Exit at Valley Circle - Mulholland.
Left at Signal.
Left into the parking lot by the McDonalds.

There is often an informal car show going on until about 10:00 AM and easy access to the mountains.

The earlier the better but I'll defer to Stan and how early he wants to get up.

If its ok with Gert, I would like to stop at his house on my way and caravan with him to Doug's meeting place. I can be at his house between 7:30 and 8:00, and if thats too early, let me know! If John can come, maybe he would like to meet at Gert's too?

There is construction and lane closures going on in the Cajon Pass near Devore, so the earlier I get through there, the better. I'll probably come home a different route, maybe Angeles Forest or up the 14 fwy.

Maybe we should target 7.30 and if you don't care too much about the neighborhood here we can meet at the San Gabriel/Sierra Madre exit of the 210 (e.g. the park and ride lot right under the freeway overpass).

It should be an easy drive to meet at Valley circle around 8.15am.
