  • April 8th Autocross - El Toro MCAS - Irvine, CA

    Hey guys,
I'm organizing a Club 111 autocross at El Toro MCAS in Irvine.

Here's the link to the thread on Elistalk:

Here's the text for those of you too lazy to look over there:

OK folks, time is getting near.

This event is being held on the runways of the old El Toro Marine Corps Air Station.

Like previous Club111 events in San Diego, we're limiting the number of participants in order to get the maximum number of runs.

Please try to arrive no later than 8am.

    First car out at 9am.

This is a work/run event, so you'll work two 60 minute shifts and run the rest of the day.

There will be top-notch instructors on hand to help you learn how to get the most from your Elise.

Here's a mapquest to the entry gate for El Toro:

    $60 per person
    Lunch will be provided.

Payment can be made 2 ways.
Paypal to: [email protected] - please indicate the payment is your entry to the April 8th Autocross

or send a check made out to "Club111" to:
    Blackwatch Racing
    19 Willowbrook
    Irvine, CA 92604

BTW - we had almost 50 Elises at the last Club111 autocross in San Diego.

It would be nice to see some Sevens...

Well, that would be great....I never done autox but would like to. But 4/8 is already booked at Buttonwillow for most of the more active crowd here. Please keep us informed of future events.

What Gert said. Thanks for the offer and the info.
A day you don't go a hundred is a day wasted

I'll be at Buttonwillow too, but definitely keep us informed of future events!

I would like to have gone to your event last October but that was when the USA Tour for Sevens took place. I'll bet five or six Sevens would attend on a non-conflicting weekend.

I live in Newport Beach, but will also be in Buttonwillow. If that was not the case, I would have popped over to El Toro for some major fun.

            Keep us posted!
