  • Join us for the USA2005 Tour

    All,

If any of you are in California and are thinking about joining up for the end of the USA2005 tour, I would be interested in talking with you. I highly encourage folks who have sevens to turn out for this event as it will be the largest gathering of sevens in the USA ever. I'd be happy to explain whatever I can about the trip. It's going to be pretty crazy with 55+ sevens and their wacky owners!  :D

Additionally, I am looking for some volunteers to help load cars in Oakland for their return trip to the UK. Please send me a PM and I'll fill you in on the details.

    Cheers,

    Tom

I'm hoping to join the group someplace between Las Vegas and Cambria.

Staying with them at least up the coast.

I managed to join the tour in Cambria for the trip up Hwy 1. I met a number of interesting folks, heard many interesting stories, and had fun driving with various groups of cars on and off up the coast. Yes, there were a lot of small groups with different plans on how to spend the day and where to stop and what to see.

At Moss Landing I fell in behind a blue Caterham which I followed to Santa Cruz, up Soquel/San Jose to the Summit. Took over the lead and drove through Big Basin (stopped for the nature loop) and then on up 9 to Skyline. Said my goodbyes just before Hwy 84. Saw a couple more Se7ens headed north on my way back home via Hwy 9. Great fun.

It was great to meet up with y'all whilst we were in Ca.

Hoping some of us can figure out a way to make it for the next adventure in the USA.

And if you'll check Tour7 *at* Se7ens *dot* net and join, you could come to Europe for some excellent blatting around here.

Don't have any of that namby pamby 55Mph (as if we noticed it) :):)

                  best,

                  Steve

As I recall the posted speed limit for much of the tour was a more enlightened 75mph. Not that we paid much attention to that limit either :)
