Maybe a little late and it is not around the corner for most of you but I decided to drive up to Mount Baldy tomorrow morning, including the famous Ridge Road (is open again, at least it was 3 weeks ago...).

The purpose of this blat is of course strictly scientific, to verify the proper altitude compensation of my new engine setup 8)

Anyway, if somebody cares to join me please let me know and we can arrange where to meet (9-ish?)

I got a brief glimpse of a Seven heading west on the 101 freeway just past the 405 about 12:30 today. I was traveling eastbound so I didn't get a good look, but there may have been a passenger too. Was that you Doug?
Headed home from the BaldyBlat?

Anyway, it was the first time I have ever seen a Seven on the road other than when I was on a blat!

Thanks Doug for coming along! Beautiful weather but I managed to bugger up this nice trip. My stomach probably did not like the Huevos Rancheros from Pepe's Taco place and I returned them to nature at Mount Baldy Village :shock:
Needless to say that I was not in the best blatting mood. But at least it served the scientific purpose and I could check the injection map....

Doug, I pick it up from Philip this coming Sunday morning, so anytime after that!
When I saw you on the 101 I was returning home from Philip's house after checking out the car for the first time. We did a little blat up Stunt Rd. for my test drive. There seems to be lots of nice roads back in the hills around Calabasas. Is this the area you guys do the Maliblats?

We sometimes meet at the top of Stunt Rd to begin the Maliblat.

As you say there are lots of nice roads. The nice roads attract a lot of other cars and motorcycles on the weekends. The local gendarme are cracking down on the speeders.
