  • AROSC Time Trial and Race January 2014 & Another School in February

    AROSC Time Trials & Race
    Willow Springs Raceway, Rosamond CA
    January 18-19, 2014
Only $280 for the weekend, $150 for single day entries!
    All makes and models welcome!

Also another School in February: AROSC High Performance Driving School

If you have any interest in doing track days the AROSC school is great. Smaller run groups, a reasonable price, and instruction that is as good or better than many others.

    Interested.

Not sure if I will time trial or race, but I am leaning toward time trialing.

Ooh, I may be able to attend the Driving School this year. No vacation or work for that weekend.

Note the extra incentive for you to attend:

          Hello all,

Now that what you have learned from the school it is time to apply that and come out to the Jan 18-19 TT/RACE/HPDE event at the Big track at willowsprings. There is going to be plenty of track time for all groups. For the Street performance drivers that want to take it up a level we have the beginner TT group with great instrcutors and pleanty of classroom time as well. For the TT drivers that want to apply what you learned to get that last 10th of a second out of you and your car and beat your competitor. For the Race drivers that want to get that perfect start after the practice sessions we have a group for you as well.

This event is the perfect as it is will be cooler so your car will have that little extra HP from the cool air. It is also close enough to the school that what you have learned is still fresh enough that it should be failry easy to apply what you learned. Remember that even though we are the Alfa Romeo Owners Club we encourage all makes and model of cars that are on the racetrack to attend.

We are also going to have a after the event meal such as chili and beer(shili is $5 and the beer is free), so at the end of the day stick around and bench race, meet new racers and just have a good time.

We are all looking forward to seeing you at the track - AROSC.

I'm planning on being there. Not sure which car. I love these winter events - much easier to put on a coat and hat and be comfortable than to sweat it out in the summer!

Not sure I will have any car at all by the event. The longer I have this Porsche, the more broke I get! Ah well.... Will still hope to get it back by late next week.

Sorry you won't make it, Magnus.
                    What about you, Justin?
I will be there in a beaten up old spec boxster I purchased a few weeks ago. Doesn't look much but it's running pretty well so far...for a porker at least ;)
Yes, I'll get the seven out there again one of these days...

I may still make it, but it would probably be only Sunday. My Caterham is still in the shop, but the Porsche might be ready by Sunday.

Are you considering running Boxster Spec this year? I am going to do that with POC this year.

Yes, that's the plan. I didn't realize you have a spec boxster as well. That's great!
I hope to see you Sunday so we can chat more about this.

                              Nigel,

I wasn't quite ready for Sunday. But will be at the POC Clinic this weekend.
