  • NASA Super Seven Festival at Infineon October 23-24

Just a reminder: NASA's second Super Seven Festival at Infineon Raceway, in California's wine country, is coming up on October 23 and 24, 2004. NASA CEO Jerry Kunzman cordially invites all sevens to attend, but he emphasizes that you must enter one of NASA's regular HPDE and/or race groups if you want to drive at speed on the Infineon track (see

Jerry's special Festival bonus, available only to those sevens that do enter a regular NASA group, will be a sevens-only HPDE7 Exhibition time slot Saturday afternoon, at no additional charge. And I think its safe to say, judging from the fun at last year's Festival, that you simply don't want to miss this chance to drive Infineon with only sevens on the track.

Because the Festival is part of NASA's larger weekend program - same as last year - Jerry cautions that the HPDE slots will sell out, first-come-first-served, well before October 23, so don't procrastinate until its too late.

Woody Harris, of Birkinsport (, and Jerry Kunzman, also especially encourage all potential Sevens Challenge racers to come out and run at the Festival. There will be racing grid space available for you. Contact Woody if you need to know more about the Challenge (phone 707-448-1282, e-mail [email protected]).

A special note to SoCal participants, and to any others towing a long way to Infineon: Rich Kamp, of Golden Gate Sevens (, is arranging free Friday overnight trailer/car parking near his shop, inside of the Infineon facility. Contact him if you need space (phone 707-933-8039, e-mail [email protected]).

Feel free to contact Rich, Woody, or me with questions. More details will follow as we know them.
