    Monterey

    I have a thread about this on USA7s, but I know that not everyone here visits that forum very often. I'm putting together a list of those folks who are attending Monterey next week for the big race weekend so we can attempt to get together at the track like we did in 2010. Who's in? To date, the following people have expressed interest:

    I'll be there. I'm not bringing the Caterham but I will racing one of my cars at the Motorsports Reunion at Laguna Seca.

            Dion D. (scratch build Seven) and likely Bill G. (Super Stalker) will be there. That is, if they don't die from heat exhaustion on our tour.

            Skip Cannon was also planning to be there, but probably not with his Caterham.

              Oh, I almost forgot - Richard, a Caterham 7 owner in England, will be here with his wife Andrea on holiday attending various events throughout the week.

                My suggestions for mid-week events (my itinerary):
                08/14 Tuesday -- Concours on the Avenue in Carmel, 11-5 (free!) more info
                08/15 Wednesday -- The Little Car Show in Pacific Grove, noon-5 (free!) more info
                08/16 Thursday -- Pebble Beach Tour d'Elegance (free! to watch, not participate) 7-8:30 pre-departure gathering at Collins Field, ~11:45-2 display on Ocean Ave. in Carmel


                ...after that, there are a lot more options on Friday through Sunday - and they cost just a bit more.

                  I arrive on Wednesday and plan to attend Automobilia Monterey that afternoon. Thursday, is the Tour d'Elegance. Friday is the Quail, Bonham's and most likely Legends of the Autobahn. Sat & Sun are the track. If anyone wants to trade cell phone numbers so we can potentially meet up at Laguna Seca, send me a PM.
