I can't make it on the 31st or the 29th. Now wishing I had considered this before arbitrarily choosing August 4th for the dyno day. Oh well.
Have fun!
There's a smaller one each and every Saturday in La Canada. Not nearly so many cars but always a nice mix and because LC is a wealthy community there's usually a few very interesting cars to oogle. It starts at about 7:00 and generally wraps up 8:30ish, just in time to blast down the freeway to Bisi's.

A day you don't go a hundred is a day wasted

La Canada!? That's much too far from El California, where I will be! Besides, all the French I know I learned from Pepe LePew and Corporal LeBeau.
Actually, I'll be near enough to swing by the Irvine C&C that morning. I hear that one's pretty good too.
