  • Historic Team Lotus Festival 20 June 2010

Historic Team Lotus presents a collection of every Lotus F1 car at this year's Classic Team Lotus Festival on Sunday 20 June. That's something like 35 cars from 37 years involvement in F1.

Wow, this will be a great Father's Day event!

    Anyone attending?

            Thanks, these are great.

In your 4th photo, the chap on the right is Martin Wade. He worked for Lotus from 1963 to 1973 and was in charge of development of the Lotus 26R.

            Now lives in Wrightwood.

Great guy with many stories of his time with Lotus.

Good eye. Yes, you are correct, that is my friend Martin. Besides the 26R, there is the Type 57, the Seven X, the Type 62, the Type 72 ......

The other gentleman is Len Terry. Responsible for the Type 38 Indy winner, the Gurney Eagles ......

Can you identify the lady I'm talking to in picture #3?

                  That's easy. Hazel Chapman.

Looks like great fun. Do you have a web album up somewhere?

Where do you know Martin from?

I met him thru his work in the US on UAVs when he worked with a couple of my brothers.

Where do you know Martin from?
Same as you. So I guess that you must be brother to Phil & Tom?
