  • Mini blat? Not the Paris/Dakar.

Who's up for a mini-blat? A micro blatette? I'm thinking of meeting on sat. or sun, May 1 or 2, around 9:00 am at a La Mesa Starbucks on Fletcher. We have some joe, shoot the [email protected]#% then hit the road. 67 to Julian or maybe go way east on 94. Score some lunch then head home. A drive in the sun w/ time left over for the kids/boss/wife or bosswife, as the case may be. No parkas needed. Still time for mowing. Anybody in?

The funny thing is my wife goes " What is that car a Morgan ? " and I said "No that's a Caterham but there is a Morgan driving it " -delise

Have to pass on that one, too. Got to do the Baja1000 blat first.

But, talking about it....didn't Brad mention another official CCC Palomar blat in May sometimes?

Okay, Nevermind. I'll just keep doing these solo. But I do dig how hardcore the Seven Guys are. If it's not a Bataan/Iditarod marathon there's no interest. Not a wuss in the batch!

Hey, I don't think I need to prove how hardcore I am ;-) My radius of Se7en operation stretches to Ruidoso/NM, Boulder/CO, Laramie/WY, Red Lodge/MT and Whistler/BC so far.

But I suspect you will get the LA folks only to your area for a longer blat (after some scheduling time). For the lazy San Diegans that is of course a totally different story

Hey I am a total wuss! I much prefer to stay close to home (short but sweet, quality not quantity) and be back before the bosswife wakes up, but your start point is 132 miles away

            ;)

It's the long drive to your start location that's stopping me too.

Yeah, I'm feeling you guys on the long haul to the start point. I really wasn't fishing for folks from the Hinterlands, Just maybe a few local blokes. BTW, I love the Calif Melee event but the Bay Area starting line requires a round trip of 850 miles just to be at square one. Cripes! Maybe I'll see ya'll at a bigger blat. Rock on.
