    Hey Stan,

I hope you have not sold your Seven yet. Doug and I were wondering if you would be up for a Final Blat (or maybe not so final if you should happen to change your mind...)

I got to work this weekend but how about the next?

    Gert

    Thanks Gert!
I have a potential buyer looking at the car this weekend, but if it doesn't sell I would be up for a blat the following weekend. Either day would work and I'll let you know what happens.

How about the rest of the bunch?

Anybody interested next weekend Saturday or Sunday?

Maybe like that or maybe a bit shorter.

Edit: Just added the miles to get there....I think the short one is enough. 337 miles for me.

Yes, 330 miles for me so the shorter route should be fine.
I'll know tomorrow if I'll have a car or not!

I'm interested but was hoping to do something closer and shorter.

          Assuming Stan has a car.

            Something like that?

              I could do that.

And by closer I also meant closer for Stan.

If we went out a bit towards his place that would be OK with me.

Either looks good for me and I'd be up for the Poppy Reserve. I seem to recall seeing something about the Poppy festival that weekend but am not 100% sure.

Let's see what Stan has to say.

Found it. I don't know if the festival impacts the reserve.

See my post in my original 'for sale' thread.

Man, what can I say. Oh well, congratulations to the sale.

Keep in touch! Now you don't even have the little Lexus anymore to tag along

I know it is not the same but let me know if you want a ride for this blat. I could also lend you a motorcycle....

OK is the blat still on?

                        Who else can make it?

Funny you should mention that. The ghost of Lexus past has been hanging around the house for the last month or so. It's a 2005:

Nothing to do with why I sold the Birkin though. I needed something to drive when the electric Mini has to go back next month.

                            Super short blatette. Mini blatt.

Big blats are cool, but I don't have to drive to Zimbabwe & back to enjoy the day. Anybody up for a mini-blatt? Maybe 8 East to 67 north to Julian for grub. Then south on 79 to 8 west for the return. No need to get up at fishin' time because we want to hit Julian around lunch. Warm & sunny the whole way. Home in time to meet kiddy/wifey obligations. Yea or nay?

                              I could do another one.
