  • Sunday Blat 2/28

Since I chickened out on the Streets due to rain, I wonder if anyone is interested in a drive come Sunday. I'm open for any suggestions.

    Have Caterham, will blat.

Good idea. I got to pack for Europe in the afternoon but a morning blat would be a good mental preparation.

Angeles Forest & Crest were still closed last weekend to clean up mud slide, not sure if open now.

As for a route....I have not been on Lake Piru Road which is said to be nice.

If we just want a quickie blat we could meet in Newhall or about (good bakery there), drive San Fancisquito up and Lake Hughes Road down, Sloan Canyon, a piece of Hwy126, up to lake Piru and back and then go home. Adding Little Tujunga in the beginning would be optional.

Supercar Sunday is anyway early. If we meet at 9ish you still have a chance to do both.

Don't have to be there so early at the new location, so I was planning on going around 8-8:30, but no biggie, SCS is every sunday

SCS could be a meet point too

Slomove: Is it Jazomin's bakery you are thinking of?

If that's the case, how about breakfast there at 8:00?

                  Yes, this one

They are open for Breakfast on Sundays. 8:00 am is good but I would not mind if that is 8:30.....

Newhall?! That's like practically in, like, another state!
You mean I am going to have to drive on the freeway?!

Technically, you don't really need to drive Freeway

                        Assuming to start from SCS

meet time precludes going to SCS..... ;)

How far a drive are you planning, I have a time limit on my hall pass?

Good question. So, where do we drive, Master (I mean Magnus)? My suggested route should be not too suggestive, after all, you started this thread.

Being completely geographically challenged, I leave the route decision to more able bodied German men such as Gert.

I can be out all day, but I'd say that 3-4 hours would be a nice Sunday blat.
