  • SuperCar Sunday Feb 22nd

Anybody up for SuperCar Sunday and a blat to the Rock Store for breakfast?

Part of the reason is to give prabjohns a look at several cars as well as a drive.

The funny thing is my wife goes " What is that car a Morgan ? " and I said "No that's a Caterham but there is a Morgan driving it " -delise

I think I will be there. Probably not before 7:30 to 8:00. My car is anyway dirty and should be hidden from all the shiny hardware sitting around there.

I might be able to come out on Sunday.

Doug, can you remind me where this is and what time I should be there?

        Thanks!

          Directions:

Find your way to the 101 and take it to Calabasas. West end of the San Fernando Valley.

Exit Valley Circle / Mulholland Dr. It might be Mulholland / Valley Circle whatever.

Go South on Mulholland. That will be a left turn for anyone coming from LA. From Ventura it's a left and immediate right.

Super Car Sunday is just South of the Freeway at the shopping center on the East side. Difficult to miss. Lots of fun cars.

7:00 AM is not too early most times.

I'll try to be there early and save spots to park but sometimes it's not easy as the place fills up.

Depart for the Rock Store 8:15 ish.

Call me if you are on the way and late: 805-498-7771.

Well, you do have two days between now and then to, err, wash it ;)

            (Mine is really dirty too)

I'll shoot for 7:30 to 8:00 too so don't worry about holding a space if it gets crowded.
105 miles from my house so I'll leave home about 6:00 am. Save some coffee for me!

Washing.....well, that is a novel concept. I heard about it but I guess that is just too radical for me ;-)
Maybe I can make do with the California Car Duster broom.....

I live 20 miles West of the Super Car Sunday location and just drove by there at 7:00 PM.

Light scattered rain now with occassional rain forecast for tomorrow.

No hood, windscreen, or wipers so will be there if it's not too wet.

Gert this might be the time to let nature wash the car and you can have a shower too.

6:10 AM high overcast but no rain.

Weather map shows rain going to the North and a bit to the South but missing us - at least for now.

                      I'll be there.

Dropped Paul at his car after the drive, about Noon.

This guy shows up late, Where is everybody? Apparently he didn't know it was just a morning thing. Most cars are gone by 10:00 AM.

Maybe he'll come earlier next month.

                            Very cool!
I should have stopped after I made my wrong turn getting on the freeway. Oh well.
