No Frills Iron Bottom Tour

Has anyone done this before, or is anyone interested in doing the 10th annual tour? Dates are April 10 to 12, starts in Pasadena, stops in Paso Robles for two days of local driving. Sounds like some of the same roads we did on Gert's Thanksgiving tour (which was great!)

A local friend with a Healy is trying to talk me into going this year. My only concern is that the tour is limited to pre-1976 cars, but he assures me that my Birkin would be welcome. He expects 60 to 80 participants this year.

More than likely I will. I made a reservation at the host motel in Paso Robles already, and blocked the days off from work. Since there is no registration for the event, at least you can back out at the last minute if something comes up or the weather looks bad.

I am hatching other plans....I need a motivation to finish my trailer rebuild (had a major disaster with the outer finish). We are probably going to NorCal somewhere the week after 4/10 and try if it is practical to haul the Seven in the trailer and also use it for camping.

Well, if it does not work, Motel6 is your friend....
